In addition to strengthening Dayton’s economy by encouraging business growth, CityWide is committed to strengthen Dayton’s neighborhoods by encouraging home ownership, home improvement and investment in the renovation of older homes and communities. Goals of CityWide’s Neighborhood Development team include:

• Increasing the diversity of housing choices in Dayton
• Encouraging the development of new and/or
   improved Dayton neighborhoods
• Educating potential homeowners about the process
   of buying a home
• Providing financial assistance to first-time home buyers
