Other Districts

Additional districts/areas within the City of Dayton that have been identified as ideal for the development of focused-use business parks include the following:

• Keowee/McCook
• NCR/UD Grounds
• Veterans Affairs Center
• Elizabeth Place
• Northwest Industrial
• McCalls/Westview
• McGregor Park
• Research Park

All of these areas have the potential to become highly visible economic hot spots. Development plans for these areas include making “shovel-ready” property available, adopting an industry clustering approach, and creating an environment that encourages collaboration among businesses. In some cases, the city will enhance existing infrastructure and build new facilities.
