Pri-Med Success Story

With the help of a direct loan from CityWide Development Corporation, PriMed Physicians recently opened a new medical facility in Dayton’s historic Wright-Dunbar neighborhood. From this facility, PriMed is better serving its Dayton area patients and enhancing the efficiency of its physicians.

Located at 1152 West Third Street, the new PriMed facility houses five doctors who moved from other locations in and around the city. Specializing in family practice, internal medicine and pediatrics, these doctors are seeing approximately 150 patients per day and 30,000 annually.

One of the area’s largest independent physician organizations, PriMed purchased the 5,800-square-foot building from CityWide, then spent several months on interior and exterior renovation work.

The new facility, which opened for business in August 2005, utilizes the latest in medical office design. Features include 15 exam rooms, a children’s playroom, and even a community boardroom.

PriMed’s purchase and renovation of 1152 West Third Street was completed with financial assistance from the City of Dayton and Key Bank as well as CityWide.
